Graduated from: Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute 2015
and Northwest School of Animal Massage 2016

Jenilee has been drawn to animals from as early as she can remember. She sought out horses while working in Arizona several years ago and fell completely in love. She currently has a QH mare that she jumps and does natural horsemanship clinics with.

In July 2014 she got the inspiration to look up acupressure for horses to see if such a thing existed. She thought it would be a great way to deepen the connection with her horse and keep her physically and emotionally balanced. Turns out such a thing did exist and she was certified as an Equine Acupressure Practitioner with Tallgrass Animal Acupressure in June 2015 and Nationally Certified with NBCAAM. She then went on to study with Northwest School of Animal Massage and was certified as an Equine Massage Practitioner in March 2016 and Nationally Certified with NBCAAM. She is also certified as an Equine Kinesiology Tape Practitioner through Dr. Angelique Barbara’s Holistic Seminars.

In additional to practicing Massage, Acupressure, and Kinesiotaping, she is studying Masterson Method Equine Massage, Animal Communication, and James French’s Trust Technique. She has also taken Yuen Method Level 1 and Matrix Energetics Fundamentals.

Jenilee is located in Tomball, TX and serves horses in the Greater Houston TX area.

A horsewoman since 1993 when a handsome dapple-gray won her heart and introduced her to the fundamentals of dressage, Barbara has a calm, grounded presence and healing energy in her hands that benefits horses as they relax into connection with her. Lara began riding at the age of 10 and has since enjoyed learning about the care, management and well being of equines. When Lara adopted now 19 year-old Arabian gelding Louie from Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE) in 2013, she began looking for alternative ways to keep her arthritic riding partner happy and comfortable. That is when Lara sought out massage education and fell in love with the work. While it is thrilling to assist the performance horse and help riders achieve their goals in the show ring, Lara has a passion for helping the senior or retired equine maintain comfort and health. In addition to practicing massage, Lara volunteers as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for local rescue organization Save a Forgotten Equine. Lara resides in Freeland, WA with Sheltie Ryan, husband Tad, and enjoys schooling dressage and exploring the trails with horses Louie and Amber.

Graduated from: Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2014

Prior to becoming a Large Animal Massage Practitioner, Dr. Moriarty went to school for Chiropractic. She was always interested in helping horses and now she can help horses in more than one way. By physically reducing stress and strain on the horse and also by helping their riders become more balanced to also reduce stress caused by the rider.

Katherine rides her own horses who she trained to do drill, trail, and western dressage. She enjoys her two young children who are also horse crazy performing in gaming, sorting cows and trail rides. She hopes to be involved in many disciplines over the rest of her life and to enjoy watching her kids learn the love of the horse too.

“I was motivated to become certified to help standardize the education of equine body workers in the state of WA. Chiropractic is something not regulated in WA and I wanted to be able to show I have proper education AND Licensing to work on horses.”

“I have always been interested in equine massage at a young age working on my own horses during shows and training. I have always been interested in improving physical function as a career and I see so much benefit in the body work I have done in my own horses, others can now benefit from what I do too.”

Graduated from: Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2016

Kara began her riding career at the young age of seven, training and competing in hunter / jumpers during her youth. She has remained passionate about horses throughout her life, continuing to ride during her years at Western Washington University, and after her move to Austin, Texas. Upon moving back to the Pacific Northwest, she made the transition from hunter to eventer, and her riding is now focused on dressage as well as eventing.

Kara became fascinated with equine massage while in Austin, when a horse in her barn came up lame and the vet recommended massage therapy. As an eye witness to the significant impact massage had in reducing pain, increasing performance, and maintaining mental and physical soundness, Kara quickly became a firm believer in the benefits of equine massage on the overall health of the animal. Years later, she enrolled in Northwest School of Animal Massage, where she focused her studies on maintenance massage, performance sport massage, trigger point and stress point therapies, and myofascial release therapies. She is proud to be among the elite group of practitioners who have passed the rigorous National Board of Acupressure and Animal Massage Exam, making her nationally certified.

When Kara isn’t in a massage session, you can find her aboard her eventing partner, an off the track Thoroughbred named Wild Oranges, or flying right seat with her human partner, who also happens to be a pilot.
