For most animal bodywork practitioners, NBCAAM certification is the only credential currently
available that shows we have the training and practice necessary to work with our target animals effectively and safely. National certification demonstrates professionalism and a high
level of standards that inspire confidence and trust in the veterinary professionals and pet
parents with whom we work.
When you become a NBCAAM Certified Practitioner Member, you join a growing community of
animal bodywork professionals who recognize the merits of achieving and maintaining a high
level of expertise and experience in their work.
Getting NBCAAM certified requires that you attend a program that provides a
minimum of 200
hours in a variety of topics related to your target animal – horses or dogs.
You can choose to attend one of NBCAAM’s member schools for your education, or you can
combine learning experiences from other sources, as long as the curriculum requirements are
met.
