NBCAAM Memberships

Support NBCAAM in it's mission to make acupressure and massage available to animals all over the country and the world.

We do this through setting high standards for entry to our profession, offering networking and educational opportunities, and supporting efforts to make laws favorable to animal bodywork.

We offer membership to practitioners who pass our exam, to students studying animal acupressure or massage, to schools that offer certification programs or continuing education, and to businesses that would like to support our work.

Certified Practitioner Membership

Membership terms are two years, the first of which begins upon passing one of our exams.

Membership includes discounts at various providers.
Additionally Certified Practitioner Members get an enhanced profile and link to your website from our Practitioner pages.

See application requirements for further information.

To renew your membership for two years and retain your member benefits, including your enhanced profile in our directory, you will need to submit 20 hours of continuing education credits, and a 25 session client log.

See renewal requirements and exceptions.

Student Membership

Student memberships last for one year or until the exam is passed, whichever is sooner.

Student membership is intended for people who are currently in a certification program and have not yet graduated. Those students who pass the exam within six months of membership will be credited an extra two months of membership at practitioner level.

Student members have access to NBCAAM website, downloadable professional articles, networking opportunities, periodic discounted coursed from participating schools and internship listing.

If you have already earned your certification, you are ready to apply for the Certified Practitioner Membership.
