A Quick Decision Guide
You are new to NBCAAM
Begin with the CE Provider Application. After approval and payment, you may submit individual courses.
You are already approved
Complete one Course Submission Application for each new course you would like NBCAAM to review.
You changed an approved course
Contact NBCAAM first. The extent of the changes will determine whether an update or a new review is required.

Choose the first option when applying to NBCAAM as a new provider. Choose the second when your provider status is already active.
New Providers
Become an Approved CE Provider
Use this application if: you are an instructor, school, business, or educational organization that has not yet been approved as an NBCAAM Continuing Education Provider.
NBCAAM will review your provider information, instructor qualifications, professional practices, and ability to deliver continuing education.
- Complete the CE Provider Application.
- Submit the requested qualifications and supporting information.
- NBCAAM reviews the provider application.
- If approved, your status change will generate the provider-fee invoice.
- After payment, you will receive instructions for submitting courses.
Important: Provider approval does not automatically recognize any course. Each course requires a separate submission and review.
Annual CE provider fee: $75
Approved Providers
Submit a Course for Approval
Use this application if: you are a currently approved NBCAAM Continuing Education Provider submitting an individual course for recognition.
Each course is reviewed for content, instructional hours, delivery method, assessment process, completion requirements, and supporting documentation.
- Complete one course application for each course.
- Upload the syllabus and requested supporting documents.
- NBCAAM reviews the course submission.
- Provide clarification or additional documentation if requested.
- Approved courses are assigned the appropriate Skills and/or General hours.
- Pay the applicable course fee to complete the recognition process.
Before continuing: You must already be an approved NBCAAM CE Provider. Course submissions do not serve as provider applications.
Course Approval fee: $40 per course
